Lyrically, the song is how satan can be the lord of this world, and we can be under his spell. But we need to stand up and fight against him and his minions to be free. We also, as the song says, need to return and help set the captives free as well.

In the song I also wanted to bring to light that a lot of us are responsible for helping these people get out of this. They’re our sisters, brothers and children that are involved in this. We need to put an end to such a horrible crime.
